I hope everyone enjoyed the 4th as much as I did.  Having your birthday on July 4th is pretty darn cool.   Fireworks and cheers abound!

We popped up to N Ga (Ellijay) to the cabin where we watched movies (Driving Miss Daisy and Winter’s Bone).  We both enjoyed the green bliss of the N Georgia Mountains although it was as hot in N Ga ias it was in Birmingham.  We saw cows up close and personal on the road.  We then meandered back through Atlanta to see ‘The Uncles’,  Mrs. Paige Jones (one of the very first of 9 Delta Stewardesses now a spry 91 – her husband Dana Jones was one of the first Delta pilots), her daughter who is a bff and Jennie another bff – couldnt’ see all the bff’s (I’m blessed to have many!).  W was ready to get back to Bham.

We had Pip (the new scottie puppy) with us.  She did GREAT in the car by the way.  She’ll be at the sales once it gets a wee bit cooler.  W calls her Diablo.

What an incredible country we live in.  God bless the USA.  Always.
